Dumb and Dumber!
Deb Edwards noticed that on an earlier blog post that had a picture of Kyle - that she had a similar pose of her son Derek (Kyle's Cousin). She was right. They probably have the same barber. (Although Kyle cuts his own hair.)

Derek Olson's soccer team headed back to State!
Deb Edwards sent the following:
Derek's team was having a pretty good season-about what we expected- after losing 13 seniors to graduation from last year's team. They've been putting it together for the playoffs, though, and it's been a great season. On Saturday, they won their Section Championship, earning a trip to the State Tournament. His team plays Wednesday night against the #1 seed, Totino Grace. Wish us luck!
There was a story on their win in Sunday's StarTribune: http://www.startribune.com/sports/preps/65913582.html?

Ice Fishing with Uncle Mike on Lake of the Woods!
Mike Olson took his son Derek & Brenden ice fishing on Lake of the Woods this past weekend.
The high temperature for the day was -15.
Rumor has it that Mike's wife Deb Edwards was upset that she did not get to go.
Judy kept text messaging Brenden the score of the New England game.
