Indoor Track Time Again!

It is that time of year for indoor track. Parker has run in two races so far.

He ran the mile and his times were: Dec. 18, MSTCA Winter Festival - 5:08:75 and Dec. 21, DCL - 5:03:25.

Kyle runs in New England Track Meet!

Kyle ran in the 4 by 800 relay at the New England Track Meet in New Britain, CT on Saturday, June 12th. The team placed 10th with a time of 8:03.12.

They have the best Buffalo Wings! Barb bought a new leopard bathing suit.

Kyle Olson runs 4 x 800 Relay at All State Meet!

Kyle ran the 4 by 800 relay at the All State Meet at Westfield College on Saturday, June 5th. They took 5th overall and qualified to go to the New England Regional Meet in New Britain, CT on Saturday, June 12th. Their time was 8:00:83.

Kyle running at DCLs

Kyle ran the 4 by 800 meter relay at the Dual County League Championship track meet on Wednesday, June 19th in Sudbury, MA. He ran with his crew of Yuji Wakimoto, David Melly and Xhulio Uruci. They took first place with a time of 8:11:44. They were not wearing their new shorts! Their school (both boys and girls) won the meet. Next stop is the All State Meet.

Kyle at Weston Twilight Invitational - May 1, 2010

Every year, Weston holds a track meet at night called the Weston Twilight Invitational. Kyle was part of the 4 by 800 Meter Relay and they placed 4th with a time of 8:19.96. They were wearing their new tight fitting shorts which were quite a hit with the girls. They may be banned from wearing them in the future.

Kyle starts the Outdoor Track Season

Kyle Olson started the ourdoor track season running the 800 M on April 7th, 2010. It was a warm day - over 90 degrees. His time was 2:10.7 and he placed 2nd against Waltham and 3rd against Concord / Carlisle.

Kyle's Relay team did not bring their A game to All State!

Kyle's 4 by 800 Realy team did not run their best at the MIAA All State Track Meet. They took 11th with a time of 8:17.44. The road does not end though - as they had already qualified for Nationals taking place on Saturday, March 13th in Boston.

Kyle's 4 by 800 Relay team takes 3rd place at D1 State Meet!

Kyle's 4 by 800 Relay team took 3rd place at the D1 State Meet on Saturday, February 20th with a time of 8:09.29. Each member shaved at least 2 seconds off their previous time and was 12 seconds faster than they were at Dual County League race. The team moves on to the All State Meet (D1-4), Friday February 26th and qualified for Nationals which will take place on Saturday, March 13th here in Boston. Katie Knott even showed up to cheer him on.

Kyle in the 4 by 800 Meter Relay at the Dual County League Championships!

Kyle ran the 4 by 800 meters relay at the Dual County League Championships on Saturday, February 13th. He was the 2nd leg and his team was in third place when he took the baton. He was able to take the lead and his team won with a time of 8.21.74 which broke the Dual County League record time. He now will get to run at the State Division 1 race this coming Saturday.

Yet another Indoor Track Meet!

Kyle ran the 600 M at the Indoor Track Meet at Boston University on January 7th.

He started out strong taking the early lead.

Howver he was over taken and came in 2nd with a time of 1:30.45.

Kyle - Indoor Track

Kyle is on the Indoor Track team this winter. He has been running two events 600 M and 4 by 400M Relay, where he is the first runner. Kyle's Indoor Track Season is over. His High School took first place in the Dual County League.

Kyle breaks 5 Minute Mile

Kyle finally broke the 5 minute mile on Friday, February 1, 2008. His time was 4:59:50.
Now he needs to work on breaking the 4 minute mile!
