Parker finishes XC season with PR!

Parker finished the 2012 XC season at the MIAA Eastern State Championships on Nov. 10th with his PR for a 5k with 17:41.70.  Below are some pics from the race and some from one the week before at the Coaches Invitational.  You can follow Parker's times at:

Anastasia Korzenowski having another great year running!

Anastasia Korzenowski is having another great year running XC.  Her PR for a 4K is 14:33 which she did at the Missota Conference Championships on Oct. 6th.  Her PR for a 5k is 19:33.71 at the Heartland Regional on Nov. 11th.  If you want to follow her times check out: http://mn.milesplit.com/athletes/2187395-anastasia-korzenowski

Parker's XC Team ran in the DCL rournamment on Oct. 26 at Lincoln/Sudbury High School.  Parker's time was 17.24.5 and his school took 4th overall.

Parker's First Varsity XC Meet!

Parker ran his first race of the season. Newton South ran against Bedford & Boston Latin.  Over all he took 7th  and placed 5th for Newton South.  Newton South beat both teams.

Weekend of Running!

Lots of people running this weekend. On Saturday, Nov. 5th, Anastasia Korzenowski ran in the Minnesota State High School Cross Country Championships (4K) and placed 30th with a time of 15:04.90.

Also on Saturday, Parker was in the Massachusetts Coaches Invitation Sophomore Race (5K) and unfortunately got hurt and did not finish.

And lastly on Saturday, Katie Knott ran and Jackie Sypnieski walked the Bear Tracks 5K. Katie's time was 26.57 and was 37th out of 190. It was personal best. Jackie's time was 55:27 and she placed 188th.

On Sunday, Nov. 6th, Jon and Judy ran the Charles River Center 5K in Needham, MA. Judy placed 70th out of 306 with a time of 26:34. Slow poke Jon placed 89th with a time of 28:05.

The best part of the race was that Sam Adams served beer after it!

Anastasia Korzenowski takes 2nd at at the Section 2AA Meet!

Anastasia ran her personal best of 14:46 for the 4K at the Secion 2AA Meet on Oct. 27th.
Her team finished 2nd qualified and will advance to the State Meet. Her Dad, Kyle sent me these photos.

Parker at DCL Cross Country Meet!

Newton South ran Varsity at the Dual County League Race on Friday, Oct. 25. Parker's time was 18:29. The team took 4th.
