Parker Olson turns 14 on December 2nd. Love the blue hair & sunglasses!

Jackie Sypnieski will be 59 on December 11th!

On December 14th, Mike Hansen turns 22!

Kyle Olson turns 18 on December 18th.

Jon Olson also has a birthday on December 18. He turns 54!

Julie Olson will be 48 on December 19th.

Gavin Bennent will be 4 on December 24th. (If you have a photo - please send me it.)

Ann Sundblad is gets to celebrate her birthday on Christmas, December 25th. She will be 23.

Thanksgiving 2009!

For the past several years we have celebrated Thanksgiving with the Keatings! Judy met Mary when we first moved here. They worked together at Filene's. It is great for us, as all I have to do is bring the turkey, stuffing and gravy - they do the rest.

Turkey Trot!

We ran the Volvo Turkey Trot 5K again this year. We all had our best times ever for this race.

Kaeden James Senske born September 14, 2009!

My cousin Sandy sent me these photos of my cousin, Janet Koglin and her grandson, Kaeden James Senske who was born on September 14, 2009. Kaeden is the son of Stacy and James Senske who live in Apple Valley, MN. Stacy is Janet's daughter.

Kyle's last XC Race!

Kyle's ran his last XC race on Saturday, November 14th, the MIAA State Divisional Eastern Meet at Franklin Park. The weather was the horrible as it was raining and the course was a mud pit.

Halloween 2009!

Halloween 2009 in Newton Center was very warm and windy!

I carved the pumpkins again and used some patterns that I had used in the past.

Cross Country - October 30, 2009!

Both Parker and Kyle had big XC races on October 30th. Parker had the All City Tournament and Kyle had the Dual County Championships. Parker's team took first and Kyle's team took 4th.

November Birthdays!

Lots of birthdays in November - eight of them!

We start out the birthdays with Karen Martineau who turns 47 on November 2nd.

Dave Powers will be the big 60 on November 11th.

Jean Knott turns 55 on November 18th.

Another November 18th birthday is celebrated by Denny Mahoney who turns 64. (Marybeth - Will you still love him when he turns 64?)


Marcus Sundblad turns 2 on November 19th.

Cathy Moen will be 58 on November 20th.

Melisse Martineau will be the big 10 on November 22nd.

On November 24th, Dan Wilson will be 59.

Derek Olson's soccer team headed back to State!

Derek's team was having a pretty good season-about what we expected- after losing 13 seniors to graduation from last year's team. They've been putting it together for the playoffs, though, and it's been a great season. On Saturday, they won their Section Championship, earning a trip to the State Tournament. His team plays Wednesday night against the #1 seed, Totino Grace. Wish us luck!
