Parker's LAX Team goes undefeated!

Parker took up LAX this year and his team won every game. These photos are from is his last game on Tuesday, June 2nd. He was not hard to spot - as he is the one in the red shorts.

The parents wanted to get a team photo - and this is what we got.

Katie Knott runs 12K in Stillwater!

Katie Knott ran with her fellow National Guardsmen & Guardswomen at the Stillwater Marathon on Sunday, May 30th. She ran the 12K event with a time of 1:11:23 which was 244th out of 591. She placed 117th out of 368 women and 28th out of 85 in her age group.

Party on June 12th!

June 12th will be a big day for relatives of the two graduating senior Olson boys. Both of their parties are on Saturday June 12th. Derek's from 11 am - 2 pm (CDT) and Kyle's from 4 pm to 10 pm (EDT). Many relatives are planning on attending both - flying from Minneapolis to Boston.

June Birthdays!

Five birthdays in June! Two of them are milestone birthdays!

Beatrice Huss turns the "BIG 80" on June 8th.

Jim Hansen will be 59 on June 10th.

Gabe Korzenowski also has a birthday on June 10th. He will be 7.


Lena Godsey turns 95 on June 20th.

And the last birthday in June is Mark Sundblad's. He turns the "BIG 30" on June 22nd.

Brenden at Brewer's Game in Milwaukee!

Brenden went to Milwaukee with his college roommate Joel recently. Joel and his girlfriend Chelsea took Brenden to a Brewer's game at Miller Park on Thursday, May 27. Brenden was quite impressed and said he actually liked it better than Fenway. He has been in the Midwest too long.

Dan Wilson rides in "Undie 500"!

Dan Wilson rode in the 4th Annual "Undie 500" at Phoenix Park in Eau Claire on Sunday, May 23rd. I see they wore clothes under their Undies!

Kyle ran the 4 by 800 meter relay at the Dual County League Championship track meet on Wednesday, June 19th in Sudbury, MA. He ran with his crew of Yuji Wakimoto, David Melly and Xhulio Uruci. They took first place with a time of 8:11:44. They were not wearing their new shorts! Their school (both boys and girls) won the meet. Next stop is the All State Meet.

Party at Preston's!

An SAE brother of Brenden's, Sam Tunheim's parents held a party for his graduation on Sunday, May 16th at Sgt.Preston's near the U of M. We were also invited and went with Brenden.

On Saturday, May 15th, we had a party for Brenden celebrating his graduation. We had the party at his Aunt, Melissa's house. Over 60 friends and relatives showed up.

Derek is graduating from High School and will be attending Washington University. Katie graduated from Concordia University in St. Paul the same day as the party! She got a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. Congratulations Katie!

Brenden Graduates from the University of Minnesota!

Brenden graduated from the University of Minnesota at Northrup Auditorum, Friday night. He is the 3rd generation to graduate from there. Both his mother, Judy and his grandfather, Ted graduated from there. He starts an internship with Land-O-Lakes in Sioux City, Iowa. Judy and I drove 23.5 hours non-stop in the blue truck to attend. (We are leaving the truck with him.) Also attending were his God Parents, Sandy and Chuck Hatfield, his Aunt Melissa Korzenowski, and his Uncle Kyle Korzenowski.

Kyle at Weston Twilight Invitational - May 1, 2010

Every year, Weston holds a track meet at night called the Weston Twilight Invitational. Kyle was part of the 4 by 800 Meter Relay and they placed 4th with a time of 8:19.96. They were wearing their new tight fitting shorts which were quite a hit with the girls. They may be banned from wearing them in the future.

MacKensie Mahoney and Brenden Olson crossed paths at the Spring Formal recently. Both will be graduating this May. (Hopefully)
