February Birthdays!

Seven Birthdays in February!

Paris Martineau turns 15 on February 5th.

On February 7th, Deb Sundblad turns the BIG "60"!

Connor Blair turns 2 on February 7th.

And loveable Jerry Sypnieski can now retire as he turns 65 on February 9th.

On February 11th, David Olson will be 31!

His cousin Jamie Hansen will be 32 on February 20th!

And the last February birthday is Roger Wolden who turns 69 on February 24th!

We finally get some snow!

We finally got some snow and Parker and his friends, David Kennedy and David Kasten turned our front yard into a snow board run. It did not last long as the snow was gone two days later.

Wolfs in Ely, Minnesota!

My brother-in-law, Kyle Korzenowski sent me these photos. They were taken on Fall Lake just off shore from his cabin. He spotted wolf tracks on Thursday, evening (Dec. 29) when he was skiing on the lake at dusk. He also found fresh wolf tracks in his yard and woods onto the lake on Friday morning. There was a lone wolf finishing off the carcass when he got up in the morning, but it ran across the lake as he got down to the lake with his camera.

January Birthdays!

We start 2012 with four birthdays in January.

Art Koglin, will be 68 on Jan. 5th.


On January 20th, Janet (Ryan) Koglin turns 66.


Tom Sundblad will be 27 on January, 30th.

Kyle Korzenowski turns 45 on the last day of January, January 31st.

Christmas Time is a time to spend with Friends and Family!

Kyle went up to Camp Coniston for their annual Christmas get together for staff. Can you find him?

And on Dec. 26th, Tommy, Katie and Jacquie, fellow CITs with Brenden came by to visit.

On Dec. 22, we had dinner with our friend's kids from Australia, Edward and Eloise Andrews. They were spending Christmas in Boston.

On Dec. 23rd we had dinner with our friends the Norbergs and Mitchells.

Julie Celebrates her 50th with Patsy!

Julie sent me these photos of her celebrating her 50th birthday with friends. They went to see a "Patsy Cline" show. From the pictures - it looks like a good time was had by all.

Indoor Track Time Again!

It is that time of year for indoor track. Parker has run in two races so far.

He ran the mile and his times were: Dec. 18, MSTCA Winter Festival - 5:08:75 and Dec. 21, DCL - 5:03:25.

Winter Wonderland Parade in Chippewa Falls!

Dan Wilson sent me these photos of the Winter Wonderland Parade that took place in early Dec. He gave his company the idea 3 years ago and they have been doing it ever since. Fortunately - they even got snow.

Parker Olson will be 16 on December 2nd and will be old enough to get his driving permit.

Anna Ketchum turns 38 on December 3rd.

Jackie Sypnieski in the smart vest will be 61 on December 11th.

On December 14th, Mike Hansen will be 24.

Do they even make dickies anymore? Jon will be 56 years old on December 18th.

Kyle Olson turns 20 on December 18th. Only one more year before he can have a beer.

And on Christmas, Ann Sundblad will be 25!
