Parker takes 5th Place in Heart Break Hill Race

Every year the day before the Boston Marathon, Newton has a 1 mile race for kids called the "Heart Break Hill" Race. This race is the point in the Boston Marathon (Mile 19) that a lot of runners hit the wall and stop. Parker took 5th place in his age group with a time of 6:27.

A Brother for Brady

I just received these ultrasounds from Carrie Brookins (My cousin Sandy's daughter). She claims it is a boy. (They do make mistakes.)
According to Carrie,"They are both pictures of the baby's face. In one shot the arm is covering half of the face. In the other the arm is moving and it is a profile pic. We think there are definite features already that mirror Brady! Baby is weighing in at 15 ounces and the heartbeat is a strong 153. They said everything looks healthy. She counted all 10 fingers and all 10 toes today!! Pretty cool to think of such a tiny being in there. Brady and Bret have felt the baby move. Due date of August 27th is a go!"
