Minnesota 21 - California 35

Friends of Mike and Deb, the Abells from California, came out to watch California play against Minnesota. Mark went to Minnesota and their son, Matt goes to California. He plays in the band. I wonder who they cheered for. They looked for Brenden - but could not find him.

Annual Golf Outing - 2009

This past weekend we had our Annual Golf Outing. Judy and I started it in 1989 and have only missed one year. This year it was held at the Cranwell Resort in Lenox, MA. Every year a different couple hosts the event and next year, Judy and I are hosts. If you would like an invitation to attend - send me an email. If you do come - you have to golf or at least attempt to. We hold a Texas Scramble Tournament on Saturday and assign the teams so that you do not golf with your spouse. The largest group was 15 couples.

The four couples attending this year. I don't know why Judy and I are the only ones with shorts as the weather was warm. Judy's group won - I think they cheated.

What goes around - comes around!

Judy came across a photo taken in 1988 when her brother Kyle came to visit us. He was 21 at the time and holding Brenden who was probably a couple of weeks old. So she had Kyle take a picture of Brenden who is 21, take a photo of Brenden holding Kazimir who was a couple of weeks old.

XC Team Dinner

It's a tradition that the Captains of a sport host team dinner the night before a big event. It was our turn Friday night with the XC Team. Luck was with us as we only had to feed the boys. The girls were traveling and not in town. We made lasagna and garlic bread. The weather held up and they were happy to be outside. The boys team is running the McIntryre Invitational today.

If you have ever been to our house - you know the rule that Judy has - take your shoes off!
