Katie Knott runs Half Marathon in Stillwater, MN!

Katie Knott ran the "Jon Francis Half Marathon" in Stillwater Minnesota on Sunday, May 24th.
Her time was 2:11:15 with a pace of 10:02. Overall she placed 574th out of 898 runners, 294th out of 535 Females and 29th out of 77 in her Division. She was cheered on by her relatives: Mom - Jean Knott and her Aunts - Lori Wilson, Debbie Sundblad and Jackie Sypnieski.

Memorial Day 2009

We spent the late afternoon of Memorial Day enjoying the great weather in Boston.

Kyle had his Junior Class Semi-Formal on Friday. He took his girlfriend, Cora Visnick.

Julie Olson & Mike Blair ran or walked the Advocate Safehouse Project’s "Mother’s Day Mile"

Julie sent me these photos of Mike & her at the Advocate Safehouse Project’s Mother’s Day Mile. They had 747 walkers/runners at the race and are now the 2nd largest foot race in the Roaring Fork Valley (Aspen to Parachute). (Do any of you know where Parachute, Colorado is? I didn't think so.) They raised over $17,000! All participants received a piece of home-made pie plus a rose.

Matt Knott runs 30K - "Don't Fence Me In Trail Run"!

Matt Knott sent me the following pictures. He ran a 30K (18.6 Miles) run on May 9th. The race was called the "Don't Fence Me In Trail Run." 7 others from his fire crew ran it also. The race is on trails right out of Helena. It starts about 3900 ft and hits about 5200 feet. He finished in 2 hours 40 minutes 55 seconds and placed 13th overall and 4th in his age group. He said "I guess endurance must be an Olson trait. I know I look goofy in the pics but fire season is just around the corner and it is always a competition to see who can get the craziest facial hair."

Spring Break!

Brenden recently was on Spring Break in Panama City, Florida with some of his SAE brothers.
Since Panama City is near where his Grandma, Barb Korzenowski and his Aunt & Uncle, Karen and Scott Marineau live - he visited them.

Katie Knott ran in the St. Paul, Minnesota's St. Partick Day 5K on March 22nd.

She is training for a half marathon in Stillwater, Minnesota on May 24th.

For those you in the Twin Cities - you should go cheer her on.

Kyle Coaches Parker's Basketball Team

Kyle and 2 of his buddies coached Parker's basketball team this winter.

They started out losing their first 3 games and then won 6 of the last 9 games.

And believe it or not - they did not kill each other.
