Cape Town, South Africa - Jan. 13 - 23, 2013

The whole family brought Kyle down to Cape Town, South Africa, where he will be attending the University of Cape Town for the Spring Semester which is actually their fall semester. While there we each got to pic an activity or site to visit. I picked surfing, Judy picked visiting the wine country (Stellenbosch), Brenden wanted to go hunting, Kyle did not care and Parker wanted to go diving with the great white sharks. We were able to do all of that and more. Below are pics that Brenden, Kyle and I took.

We had a great time and highly recommend you visit Cape Town! Oh – and it was fun driving on the left side of the road and using a stick shift with your left hand.

Where we stayed the whole time!

Panorama view from the deck.  Great view any time of the day or night.

Great people and always helpful.

Brenden wanted to go hunting while there and did so.

They had a great bar on the beach where you could get cheap beers!

While drinking the cheap beers you could watch a game of Cricket!

We asked this woman to take our picture.  She thought we wanted to have our

Rich attend the University of Cape Town.

You had to park at this level and walk down stairs to get to the beach.

Judy thought that she missed out on all the fun and joined the boys while I shot
photos of them surfing!

What the flags mean at the beaches.  The only flag we did not see is a white one.

They would throw fish heads and what looked like a seal out as bait to lure
the sharks in front of the tank so you could see them while you were in the cage.
